The Lotus flower is regarded in many different cultures, especially in eastern religions, as a symbol of purity, enlightenment, self-regeneration and rebirth. Its characteristics are a perfect analogy for the human condition: even when its roots are in the dirtiest waters, the Lotus produces the most beautiful flower.
Life is infinite. The infinite Energy trapped from universe moves thru the chakras towards the infinity mat grounded on earth. Our time on earth may be finite but our souls exist forever. In meditation, the symbol of infinity is used to remind us of balance, focus, harmony, peace, and oneness.
When people see things as beautiful, ugliness is created. When people see things as good, evil is created. Being and non-being produce each other. Difficult and easy complement each other. Long and short define each other. High and low oppose each other. Fore and aft follow each other. THE wheel keeps rotating and revolving around LIFE till the two halves merge completely in each other.
