Sound Healing

Where Sound Becomes Healing

What is Sound?

Sound is vibration — and vibration is an integral part of our everyday experience. Music, nature, voice, rhythm and even silence can influence how we feel, focus and relax. When used consciously, sound can become a powerful tool for creating a sense of calm, connection and inner awareness.

What is Sound Healing?

Sound healing is a complementary wellness practice that uses sounds, tones, rhythm and vibration to encourage relaxation and mindful awareness. Practices may include singing bowls, gongs, tuning forks, chanting, mantras, drums and therapeutic music. During a session, a person may simply listen, breathe, relax and become aware of the sensations created by the sound.

Types of Sound Healing

Rhythmic drumming can encourage grounding, movement, focus and emotional expression through sound and rhythm.
